This Casting seems to follow on thematically from last week’s in that there is a build-up and then a sudden change.
Conjunctio in the 6th house (Capricorn) gives the impression of having deep and detailed knowledge and with you acting as a channel for what needs to be done. This seems like a bit of a waste of your skills as it can make you feel things are a little tedious. It’s not that you are averse to detailed work but your mental processes seem to outrun the routine methodical work.
That said, you do understand that detail matters and you may find that others slacking off rubs you up the wrong way. Planning is important so long as people don’t fall in love with just planning. The planning must lead somewhere and to something practical. It would be nice to see that the effort of preparation was worthwhile. Fortunately, things are about to change.
Caput Draconis in the 4th house (Scorpio) shows that inspiration is about to strike. This may be an Aha! moment or simply that there is some other sudden shift of circumstance. (It would seem most likely that it is the former as it is in the house of the home and ancestors, in other words, away from work.)
It might be that an idea strikes while you are in the shower or out for a walk, but wherever it occurs it is likely to be a penetrating insight. It is likely concerned with something that was hidden but which you can now see clearly in its proper context.
The Pars Mercurii is in the 3rd house (Libra) and gives a clear indication about the change of speed or tempo over coming events. Don’t wait to communicate what’s going on. Change, when it occurs, is likely to leave some people confused or surprised. The Pars points to two scenarios here. You’ll have to let them fend for themselves (which is a little unkind) or that you might prepare people ahead of time (much nicer). But because they are not as invested in matters as you, you are likely to only inform them rather than prepare them. They just won’t see things like you do and consequently they will not prepare as well. One thing is clear, however. Once things start changing there won’t be much time to explain. Your call.
Take control of your Destiny
The Active Transform this week is Tristitia (23) in the 2nd house (Virgo). When the situation changes, you’ll know. You’ll know because you’ve been anticipating and planning for it for some time. You may need to ‘repurpose’ some of your skills and resources to fit the new situation, but you’ll still be more ready than most.
The key thing will be to act quickly. Matters are not going to stay this favourable for long in the current Flow it seems. Almost as soon as you understand what’s happening the door will already be starting to close. (Tip: Keep a notebook to hand to capture fleeting thoughts and ideas—and telephone numbers.)
Deploy your resources. Act. Speed is of the essence. Having planned, execute. Strike while the iron’s hot. Move as fast as if a trap you set is sprung.
Rogues
There was one Rogue in the Casting this week: Puella in the 5th house (Sagittarius). Some, including you, might wonder about the nature of the situation: Will it be luck or skill that allows you to pull things off? It is probably a bit of both. But you can tilt the odds in your favour.
It’s like this: you can’t predict when lightning will strike (that’s the luck part) but you can prepare and channel it when it happens by putting up a lightning rod (that’s the skill part).
