This week shows the classic effect of an opposition in a Casting. An opposition provides the opportunity for challenge and change. It shows that this is a time when movement can occur in your life. What usually happens in an opposition is that the separate parts of your life come together and bring things to a head. It is by doing so that you clearly see what needs to be done and have the chance to do it.
You have all the pieces, all the players and all the opportunity all in one place. This is a time when you can change things and make your plans happen.
That’s not to say it will always be easy but without having the opportunity to face the situation then unsatisfactory circumstances would continue. In this situation it represents a good thing.
Laetitia in the 12th house (Gemini) suggest that you think others are being difficult. Perhaps they are taking their time over things which you think should be done more quickly. Perhaps they just seem to be dawdling and maybe even seeming to walk around in a bit of a daze.
You, however, are very clear in your mind as to what needs to be done: we need to do this, go there and get that. So why don’t they see that?
The opposition aspect suggests that you’ve reached the point when you almost don’t care why other people are not doing what they need to do. There’s not enough time and it should be common sense. They just don’t seem to be ‘getting on with things’. So what can you do?
Cauda Draconis in the sixth house (Sagittarius) provides a simple solution — and like most ‘simple solutions’ to problems involving others it is wrong…
…Given how clear you think everything is you are simply likely to get on with it and do everything yourself, not worrying about what others do or think.
Well, that can work under some circumstances, of course, but not this time. When you look at the Flow and understand the true nature of an opposition aspect you will see that there is a better way.
But aren’t you being kind to them by not pushing? Aren’t you being considerate of their feelings and yet still trying to get things done? Yes, you are. But that is not the root of the problem.
The root of the problem does not lie in the particular projects you are working on.
The root of the problem is in your relationship with others.
If you decide to do everything yourself then they will simply see that you are going your own way. They will think that you just want what you want and that you don’t need or care about involving them. Grossly unfair, I know!
Take control of your Destiny
The Active Transform this week is Conjunctio (1) in the 12th house (Gemini). From this it is clear that you care very much about communication, particularly with regard to others.
What the Conjunctio (1) is suggesting is a different approach. An approach that builds on your relationship with others to get your ideas over.
Specifically, you should aim to bring people back into your confidence and to your trust. In other words, it’s not about the problems, it’s how you deal with the problems.
If you do that then they will see that you are trying new ways to engage with them. And the Active Transform reveals the best way to do that is by being more spontaneous with them and intuitive of the situation. How?
Well, one word which you are likely to find helpful here is ‘Snippets’…
Share instant ideas and feelings. Look for really quick interactions you can have with people. These snippets are really hit-and-run ways of interacting and you are likely to find these are much better received.
You don’t need to put much effort into them. They are just bite-sized pieces of information and interaction.
They should be intuitive or inspired, or both.
