A riddle for you: There are five birds on a line. One of them decides to fly off for the winter. How many birds are left on the line?
If you said ‘four’ you have successfully subtracted 1 from 5… but it’s not the right answer. If you said ‘none’ because you know about bird-nature, and know that of one flies off then the other birds will have flown off with the leader then you have shown a deeper understanding of nature, but you’d still be wrong.
The correct answer is, of course, five.
Just making a decision is not enough.
You have to take action before anything changes.
There’s lots of Venus and her influences around this week. Amissio is in the ninth house (Gemini) quincunx to Amissio in the second house (Scorpio). The Pars Venusii is in the sixth house (Pisces) and there is a Rogue Puella, the other aspect of Venus, in the fifth house (Aquarius).
The first part of the meaning of the Casting is really focused around the significance of the unchanging two Taps at Levels 2 and 4 of Amissio.
The first geome shows that you will probably feel on top of the world, or at least on top of what you’re doing, at the start of the week. You are likely to feel no fear and to want to capitalise on your sense of adventure. You will want to feel comfortable in exploring new places and new ideas.
Because of your feelings of certainty as to direction you will tend to brush off suggestions of confinement of all kinds. There is no need for you to be too serious, you believe. You want to sparkle, to have a good time and, importantly, to move away from being dissatisfied with where you are — physically and emotionally.
You will likely feel a sense of acceptance of any difference around you. This is likely driven by a feeling of being in control on many levels, thanks to that Pars.
However, if you find matters are not progressing quite as you wish later in the week then the second stage of Amissio will cut in.
This will tend to ramp up the pressure and the passions you are feeling. You will likely delve deeper, seek to undercover deeper motivations and emotions, both of your own and of other people. You may even be tempted to try to manipulate others (although you are likely to call it by the more acceptable ‘managing their expectations’!).
Passions of all kinds likely to run deep and you may find several ‘all or nothing’ situations beginning to pop up.
If you are in Flow you will begin to be able to challenge and think in your situation: ‘How much of me is causing the current situation? How are my feelings of certainty preventing me from moving forward by insisting on only one way?’
Ah, the wisdom of reflection in the Pars’s Piscean pool!
Whilst concentration and a need to keep control of powerful emotions will be useful to you, you will find that if you are not making headway there is an important question to ask yourself:
Do I want this so much that I will consider another way to get it?
Maybe, just maybe, there is more than one way to approach this despite feelings of certainty…
Take control of your Destiny
The Active Transform this week is Populus (13) in the seventh house (Aries). If you are stuck but you truly want to progress, then an honest answer to that question will provide genuine insights for you. That’s because feelings of certainty do not always indicate truth. It takes humility not passion to admit that.
Populus (13) shows that Flow is encouraging working with others, seeking alternative points of view and alternative ways of working. Alternative partnerships and critically alternative ideas in working with others will be very beneficial to you.
The key then is not just to be creative, or to be different, or to change. It will be to be creative, different and change in relation to, and with, others.
Your certainty at the start of the week gives way to intensity. Breadth gives way to depth.
But to move and to grow requires change, difference, diversity, not simply more of the same.
It requires moving from thinking to doing — and doing with others.
So how many birds are there on your wire?
Four — or still five?
Rogues
There was one Rogue today: Puella in the fifth house (Aquarius).
In the midst of all these changes, aim for harmony, charm and love of one’s fellow human.
