Fortuna Minor + Rubeus → Laetitia (12)
Astrogem Casting for week commencing 11th August 2024

The same geomes are in the Casting as there were last week though different signs and aspects are involved. The first thought then is that matters are continuing, but now with a twist…

Fortuna Minor in the 6th house (Capricorn) indicates that you will be looking for a way to improve something or to make it workable. You know what needs doing, but it can seem a long time in coming. It would seem to involve a lot of effort, hard work and application.

Sure, you are learning what to do as you go along, but at times it can seem like you are banging your head against a brick wall.

Rubeus in the 7th house (Aquarius) changes all that. Questions are being asked of you: Dare you take a chance? Dare you not take one?

Then things start getting interesting. Inspiration comes ‘somehow’ from others… It may be that you find out from someone else but, more likely, you find out about someone else. The difference may sound small but there is all the difference in the world. In the first case, others would be providing the assistance or the help you are looking for directly. In other words, they give you what you’re looking for.

In the second case—the more likely interpretation, actually—it is you who thinks about other’s actions, ideas and results. In this way, they don’t help you directly but rather you find an example or inspiration from them.

This makes a difference as it is still you who is controlling, deciding and developing the solutions you need. The power rests with you.

The Pars Solii is in the 12th house (Cancer) this week. It counsels that you should not try to force the process of arriving at solutions. It also advises against rehashing what you already know doesn’t (or isn’t likely) to work. You need new thinking on this.

Take control of your Destiny

The Active Transform this week is Laetitia (12) in the 8th house (Pisces). This shows that you know you’ve hit on the right approach when the problem suddenly ‘gives’.

It’s like you’ve been trying to undo a nut stuck on a bolt with a spanner but it’s just not moving. The metaphor from the first two geomes is that you see someone doing it in a slightly different way (using a larger spanner, or applying some WD40, or tapping it with a hammer). Give that a go.

Suddenly the nut will ‘give’ and begin to unscrew.

Oh, the relief when it finally yields and you can move on!
