Astrogem Casting for week commencing 18th October 2015
All the geomes feature in the fourth house (Capricorn) this week. First to appear was Caput Draconis, followed by Albus, giving the Active Transform Acquisitio (234). What a heady mixture of lightning ideas and practical hard-won experience! The Flow promises to reveal itself in an interesting way.
As much as you feel new ideas and opportunities are occurring to (and for) you it may also feel that it would be quite hard work to realise them — but that is deceptive…
At the start of the week you may not feel certain you have what it takes to do what is necessary. But you will soon see signs of progress if you take the opportunities presented to you.
Allow yourself to be galvanised!
You will probably be able to look back on this coming week and see how focused it was. (Note for word-nerds: ‘Focused’ is not the same as ‘Concentrated’. But, I digress…)
The Flow indicates that you have a good chance of learning something new and valuable about yourself and how you work. It may just seem like a busy week to you with lots to do at first, but there will be new facets in play as the week progresses.
Pay particular attention to the things that are about you, this week. You’re likely to get some new insights, but you’ll need to be in the mood to listen to them. If you want to make the most of this week you will need to relax your defensive posture. New things coming your way won’t all be hard work, neither are they negative criticism of how matters stand.
In other words, they may be work but it may not be hard work. It may be criticism but it’s not really negative.
The trick is to not be too stubborn to listen.
So, when you’re exposed to new ideas this week, take them for more than they are — find the links to who you are. You won’t feel much like putting in effort to make changes if you’re already under strain, but that would be to miss an opportunity. You’ll find that you can take what’s on offer and to realise something new.

Take control of your Destiny
Listen closely to yourself, take what comes along and develop the ideas presented to you.
You will find that you can begin, slowly, to adapt the ideas which come to you and that you’ll have a pretty good chance of making the new idea work.
Imagine it as being like a salesman trying to convince you of the virtues of some new-fangled doo-dad. Instead of the pitch he’s giving you will be able to see the possibilities for yourself which nobody else has noticed about whatever it is. You’ll be able to find a personal distillation of several ideas which gives you just one great idea.
Work with that idea! Don’t just dismiss everything because it seems like too much effort. Find the sliver-lining that’s just for you. Find the adapted, insightful revelation that applies to you and to nobody else.
You will find that you really do have the capability to do what you need and want to do. And that will provide you with the motivation and benefit you will find useful.
You’ll find that matters work out differently than were perhaps promised or planned, but there will be progress… if you want it!
