Rubeus in the 8th house (Capricorn) suggests that some project you’ve got going is proving a little taxing at the moment, to put it mildly. In fact, it seems to be one darned thing after another in trying to make much progress with it.
In finding it tough going you are probably, if somewhat reluctantly, learning lots of lessons along the way. It’s not just that it can be heavy going but that there are unpredictable lurches and glitches along the way, too.
Are you trying to make big changes, or are those changes being imposed on you while you try to get things done? Either way you are likely to find that outside help would be useful… but where to turn?
Conjunctio in the 11th house (Aries) indicates that an obvious helping hand might be provided by the input of old friends and associates.
There are a couple of issues with asking them, however. You need to approach them in the right way in order to get the best out of what they might offer.
The first thing to know is that they may be a little too quick to offer advice, particularly as they worry that they might get dragged in to actually doing something (they wouldn’t be keen at the moment).
A second reason they need to be consulted with care is that they are simply not as invested in the problems as you are. Given these two reasons you might find their input, while welcome, a little rushed or perhaps something of a knee-jerk reaction rather than fully considered advice.
Fortunately, there is a way to get round this…
Take control of your Destiny
The Active Transform this week is Albus (2) in the 2nd house (Cancer). This shows that to get the most value in your interactions—especially when looking for helpful advice—will be to be absolutely straightforward in what you are asking, holding nothing back, even if this makes you feel a little vulnerable. This needs a little bit more of an explanation.
Don’t downplay things. Speak from the heart. And when you do ask for help make it clear that you are not asking them to do anything other than provide an opinion. Make it clear, too, that you are not asking for a handout or seeking charity!
Show and say what you need clearly and simply and why you don’t currently have those resources.
Ask instead for the thoughts, approach and tools that they think you could use to do the job.
Make it known that it is you who is taking the full responsibility for what needs to be done.
If you do need them to get involved practically you will need to provide them with an emotional pay-off, so look to mutual benefit.
The Pars Plutii this week is in the 4th house (Virgo). This advises that you should avoid conflicts at home by taking care of details. Don’t overlook your duties here.
