The Flow could take you either way this week. It does not play favorites. Will you lead or will you be led. . .
Think of swimming in the sea of life. We can think of the Flow as being ‘the mood’ of the ocean.
Are you swimming with the waves towards the shore, or are you following the tide and perhaps heading back out?
The Flow this week shows that you can make a choice. It doesn’t much matter which you choose as either option is possible and equally likely to proceed. The question is, which do you want?
Let’s break this down: We see Via, the new moon geomantically speaking, in the eleventh house (Gemini) which is giving us all sorts of potential to connect deeply and meaningfully with others.
Seriously.
Very deeply, very meaningfully and with lots of others. Via always provides potential for us to start or to bring to a stop. Maybe it is the way forward, maybe it is the final path home.
This inverted mirror-like duality is made complex because it is not only in Gemini, which provides a tweedle-dee/tweedle-dum choice, but because it is also in opposition to the second geome, Caput Draconis.
And as I always say, oppositions – despite their name – are not always bad things even if they bring resistance. They can be simply the grindstone to your chisel – a necessary change of situation to enable to you get better and grow.
So on one level Via is offering the potential for lots of growth because it offers a blank canvas. On the other hand it can be difficult for us to know how to progress. A blank canvas gives no guidelines. So unless you are living some kind of ‘paint-by-numbers-and-fill-in-between-the-lines’ kind of life, a blank canvas can be either very empowering because of all the potential, or very intimidating because you don’t know where to start!
This is one of the things which makes oppositions such interesting aspects! If we had an easier aspect such as a sextile or a trine we would know which way things were going to pan out. And a harder aspect would allow us to prepare ourselves to meet a challenge. But this?
What are you ready for?
What this comes down to then is ‘how ready are you?’ Fate is not giving you a test but a choice. Only you get to find out the answer and Fate doesn’t care which it is. Fate just gives you the situation and it’s up to you to make of it what you are able – or not able, as the case may be.
Harsh? Possibly.
But fate is blind.
So there’s the situation. If you are ready to go then you will be able to make the best of a new opportunity which presents itself. You’ll be able to connect and with a wider audience in ways you did not expect. But you’ll have to make the first move.
The flip-side is that if you don’t recognise the opportunity or if you are not ready then you will . . . go in a different direction.
Don’t worry – this is not a pass-fail exam. It’s just an opportunity for you to lead the dance. . . or to let others lead it instead.
The second geome, Caput Draconis, shows that inspiration from outside is about to strike. And not only inspiration in the form of a good idea, but something fated. Perhaps it will be a little moment in your week when you can know that it’s your turn to throw the die of Life.
If, as in the first case, you are ready then this will be your signal to take off and run with the ball as far and fast as you can go.
If you are not ready, then it will be the signal that someone else, probably a well-meaning friend or other friendly social influence (fifth house) will probably make the choice for you.
Plan for your future, or someone else will
Even if they may not seem to have a direct plan for you, you may find that your time gets eaten up with them and their needs. And this will be in spite of the fact that they present it as something fun for your both.
So do you want to have fun with someone else calling the shots, or do you want to take charge and decide where you go and what you do for yourself? This is what I meant by ‘not a pass-fail exam’. There is no right or wrong answer to which way you decide to play things this week. Blind fate lets you choose which path you prefer.
So that’s how this opposition is likely to play out. . . Whoever makes the decisions and creates the plans, sets the agenda.
Take control of your Destiny
So how can you Take control of your Destiny when the choice could go either way?
Well it rather depends on what you are seeking to achieve at the moment.
Adding the geomes gives us the Active Transform Laetitia (1234). This is associated with the planet Neptune and, being in opposition, it is reflected back into the eleventh house.
If you have projects to start or complete then this is an excellent time to do so. Bingo! the links are made. You’ll find you can communicate easily, get your ideas over imaginatively, you’ll be able to get to where you need to go (physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually) and that you will be able to share resources far more easily than you ever expected – provided you take that first step.
On the other hand, if you don’t have projects to start or complete then this is a time for a different kind of connection. A time when personal social connection deepens and widens, and you don’t have to do much of anything other than turn up and enjoy the ride.
What to do this week
- Get ready for inspiration from outside
- Decide if the inspiration ignites what is already inside you
- If it doesn’t then someone else is likely to be inspired to draw you into their plans
- Either way can be good, it depends on what you want
Meditation
Life can make dreams come true.
You just need to know who is doing the dreaming.
