Into The Groove

Fortuna Minor + Amissio → Carcer (12)
Astrogem Casting for week commencing 2nd February 2020

Fortuna Minor in the 11th house (Scorpio) shows your intention or need to rely on old hopes and dreams. The Flow between the geomes suggests, however, that while this might be a good starting point, it is not going to get you where you want to be.

The way to capitalise on the current Flow will be to let your current situation ease you in to a new direction. You can do this by letting it inspire you to greater challenges and further efforts.

Now that is likely to be the last thing you want to hear at the moment. The temptation is to feel that you are doing enough. You want to feel comfortable with the current situation or progress. That perception that you can stop is misleading, however. Take a breather, but carry on…

Acquisitio in the 12th house (Sagittarius) gives a clear indication that you need to avoid the seemingly helpful and comforting. It cautions against the ‘cotton wool trap’: Just because it is comfortable it doesn’t mean it’s the right course for you. It might feel restful not to try to push, but you need to avoid sinking into a comfortable position. It is too easy for a rest to become a stop.

You can avoid this difficulty by seeking to think clearly about the situation. Look to see what is really happening and don’t accept any fluff! Insist! Get clarity!

It is this insistence on looking at the bare facts of the circumstances which will allow you to fully grasp the intuitive truths. And to then take another step.

Take control of your Destiny

The Active Transform this week is Carcer (12) in the first house (Capricorn). Saturn is in its natural sign here and in a powerful position in the Casting. It explains why it matters seem to have been progressing so very slowly at the moment, but there is also a positive side to this. The circumstances around you are your path to walk. It is your set of tests alone. And while it may seem that friends might help it is you who must ultimately make the journey.

The Pars Solii in the second house (Aquarius) gives a very clear message here and neatly bridges the geomes and AT: Friends and feelings can be comforting, but what is needed is to detach yourself from irrelevant emotions. That can be tricky as feelings are usually felt to be genuinely ‘true’. But this warns against taking what is felt comfortable as being what is truthful.

Carcer is a great teacher. In the first house it indicates that if it was easy then everyone would be able to do what you are trying to do. And you can rest assured that if everyone could do it then it wouldn’t be worth your time trying to do it. The reason that things can seem hard is, well, because they are hard. Carcer provides tough and enduring lessons.

While the lessons are tough, they are not without worth. They teach perseverance. The two new Taps at Level 2 show that there is already an alignment of what you’ve been thinking with what is yet to be.

Don’t force things. While it may sound strange, seek to ‘waggle your options’ instead of looking for something radically new. Don’t press too hard but rather let the needle click into the groove.

The strength to ensure will be found in the doing.

Don’t think about the effort you are putting in. That only distracts you from making the effort.
