This week there is a pretty heavyweight conjunction in the 12th house. It suggests some deep work and deep thoughts will be bubbling to the surface…
Fortuna Minor in the 12th house (Scorpio) suggests that you have lots of internal work going on deep in your subconscious this week. It also indicates that you might have to deal with the ‘less than helpful’ interventions of others, too.
It would seem that this state of affairs is partly deliberate action on their part but also, in fairness, partly because of the way you are looking at things. And, as usual, our perceptions are a large part of any battle and, importantly, something we can work on controlling. Given that Scorpio and the 12th house both have the element of Water at their base you might imagine that strong feelings may be being evoked and that passions run deep. But like any body of water, softness and persistence can overcome the hardest rocks.
Acquisitio in the 12th house indicates that there is a shift later in the week based on some new inspiration. The shift might initially seem like a distraction, but later turns into a kind of relief.
You are likely to find it is a shift in mindset which starts as something small but which grows rapidly into a new approach.
You will only hear that small voice, however, if you are listening out for it and if you have turned down the sound on the other thoughts barrelling through your head.
Perhaps, combining and extending the water metaphor and the cold weather at this time of year (in the Northern hemisphere), we might think more of a snowball and therefore of letting this small insight snowball within us.
To make the most out of your current situation however you need to understand the joint impact of the Pars and the Active Transform this week.
The Pars Solii is in the 1st house (Sagittarius) this week. It indicates that you need to clear the decks for what you want—and need—to do next.
This is a strong sign of the need for optimism for the coming solar year.
You don’t want to keep thinking and re-thinking about the same situations and ideas. You need to decide and to commit. This will help you regularise some of your interactions.
Carve your decision in stone so that you can avoid going over the same ground again and again. It’s just too wearing.
A good approach is to almost automate your thinking in some areas. That is what is meant by ‘decide and commit’, allowing you to come to terms with the issues without the need for further thought once the decision is made.
That won’t necessarily be easy, but it is necessary at the moment.
Take control of your Destiny
The Active Transform this week is Carcer (12) in the 12th house (Scorpio). Some may find this week a little hard going, but there is a useful perspective you can use: it indicates that when you do hit on an approach to a solution which has promise it may take a little time to embed it in your thinking and practise. But anything worth having is worth working for, after all.
More than half the battle is knowing that you are on the right path. It helps to know this when the results aren’t immediately forthcoming.
Persistence in what is right will pay off.
