This week sees Cauda Draconis in the eighth house (Aries) giving a feeling that we desperately want to break free of the old order. This comes with a health warning however. You will need to take care that you’re not trying to make changes too quickly. At the moment changes might not happening as quickly as you would like. But you might want to think whether there are genuine hold-ups or whether you’re just being a little too impatient. To think it through you’ll need to consider whether you’re looking to change in the right way, in the right place at the right time and, most importantly, with the right person…
Aries in the eighth is also signalling that impatience may produce unexpected changes, particularly in the physical environment. Specifically, you need to be careful physically. There is the possibility of cuts, bruises, burns and other sharp and painful minor injuries. (Well, there is always the possibility of small accidents, and I take no credit for predicting them! The reason I mention them now is because they are probably symptomatic of being impatient, not just unlucky or careless — there is a difference!) This placement also suggests that you need to take more than usual care with money, particularly other people’s money or their influence over yours. So while you may be thinking that events in your life are ‘now or never’ this is a time to make sure that your efforts are pointed in the right direction and avoid being too impulsive.
Via in the seventh house (Pisces) seems to be an influence which should support you this week. This new, feminine, sensitive influence is in the house of relationships and reminds you of the deep connections you have made.
This should temper some of the impulse to charge ahead. It reminds you that your deep connections with others are both soft and very strong. You are likely to have cause to feel the depth of relationship with people close to you. And this is a time to let them see that your desire to improve is not impatience with them.
The deep relationships you have with others are soft, gentle and also hard-won. These can sustain you when you most need them. The pars Draconii is in the 12th house (Leo) suggesting that while your needs and strong desires may be a strong influence this week you will find it useful to look at the wider picture of events. It’s that old phrase about ‘winning the war, not just the battle’. Taking more time and not pressuring others will be useful to you this week.
Take control of your Destiny
The Active Transform this week is Tristitia (123) in the sixth house (Aquarius) and this gives you a very useful pointer this week. Tristitia is associated with the planet Uranus and therefore associated with massive change in several directions. This in no way contradicts the need to slow down and fight the impulsiveness of Aries we just talked about.
On the contrary, being placed in the sixth house and in its natural sign of Aquarius, we can see exactly where your focus will best be directed… at changing yourself.
This is why the start of the Casting indicated that you need to change the right person.
Tristitia (123) shows that change can and will come. It should come as soon as can reasonably be managed actually, but with the emphasis on the word ‘managed’.
It is your approach which can change to your tasks as you develop clearer insight into the forces at play. If the dog wasn’t so desperate to get off the leash he could still lead and walk in front, but without the strain.
It’s a matter of not being so traditional in your own thinking. By changing how you think, how you see, how you appreciate things that you can then do things differently and more to your (underlying and real) liking. This will serve you much better in the long-run.
And when you do differently, you will get differently.
