Tristitia + Aquisitio → Rubeus (4)
Astrogem Casting for week commencing 9th December 2018

This week sees a kind of loop in Flow. You are likely to find that while you revisit ideas and approaches you will be able to do so from an informed and improved viewpoint.

Tristitia in the fourth house (Aquarius) shows that you have again begun to think about something that has been troubling you — something that hasn’t been working. Now is the time to revisit that issue and to try a new approach.

It is likely that your first thought will be to take your basic approach and to consider what possibilities there are in front of you. You would then quickly try out various alternatives before settling on a way forward. So far, so obvious. Unfortunately, however, so far not successful.

Something radical and new is going to be required.

As the week progresses you become increasingly open to new approaches. Acquisitio in the eighth house (Gemini) suggests that there are two possible types of approach you can take. Naturally, you will want to try the first and seemingly obvious approach: Gain new ideas from others, talk things through, make small initial changes and chat things over.

And while this seems both pleasant and fruitful you are likely to find that it is unlikely to ultimately prove useful.

It should be no surprise that Gemini is going to offer you a dual approach. So let’s consider another approach. And the key to unlocking that second approach is to look at the Pars.

The Pars Uranii this week is in the ninth house (Cancer). This shows that the root of this issue lies in the philosophy and teachings that underpin your approach. Specifically, there is something new and ‘Acquisitio/Jupiter expansive’ that needs to happen with your existing teachings and knowledge. And this is likely to manifest in you needing to modify what you know and maybe even to find a supplementary teacher, knowledge or understanding.

Your current teacher, knowledge and understanding is fine as far as it goes but something needs to occur to you in a different way. It’s like when you were back at school and having a second teacher explain the same concept but in a slightly different way. Suddenly this produces a deeper and richer understanding. And that is what you were, and are, missing.

Take control of your Destiny

The Active Transform this week is Rubeus (4) in the 12th house (Libra). It is this Active Transform which brings you full circle as it replenishes and renews your subconscious teaching. In your balancing act of walking the line you may have found matters tilting use slightly sideways. Now it is time to correct that slight imbalance.

Further, the Active Transform advises you against being so entrenched in your thinking patterns. It helps you to avoid being so insistent on your approach and instead to look to accept wider input. Consider other explanations of the same thing. Accept help from whatever and whoever is helping.

Note here that ‘helping’ here most certainly does not mean ‘trying to help’. Helping means whatever and whoever is actually helping.

You find it helps not to be too proud or choosy about where that help comes from. So long as it moves you forward, all will be well.

If the learning you have is not sufficient — good though it may be — you need something more.

You need to correct or add to your existing learning in order to carry you on the path you are choosing.
