Watch for a significant shift in Flow this week as there is a shift of emphasis on ideas, thoughts and plans to your internal development.
Conjunctio in the 10th house (Aquarius) gives a very airy and mental feel to the start of the week. Thoughts and plans that you hope to realise are likely to be uppermost in your mind. This follows naturally on from last week’s Casting. The shift you are likely to see will be of a closing down of external influences and an opening up of internal possibilities.
It’s likely you’ve been trying to make some wide-ranging external changes. The time for trying to do this is fast ending, however. You may notice this change as streams of thought, inspiration and ideas begin to dry up. This is not a bad thing! You’ve got enough of all of that for the time being. Persisting in the mental sphere will simply make your thoughts more and more abstract and less and less practical in their application. And whilst you may initially feel comfortable in this approach it’s likely that others will not follow or understand your thinking. It’s time for a change of direction.
Via in the first house (Taurus) shows that Flow will focus later in the week on what is real and what you want to be real. It’s telling you that it’s time to get your feet more firmly planted on the ground. Given the combined emotional and earthy nature of this placement you may already have had an inkling that this was one possible way forward. Later this week, however, you are likely to see this direction open up as the most fruitful way forward.
In fact, you may already have tried to be more practical and emotional in your approach, but it wasn’t the right time. Now, however, there is a subtle shift in circumstance and it is now a viable way forward. Flow is now moving to favour it, so you can move forward with confidence. Try again!
Given that this is a square aspect not everybody will feel comfortable with a change in direction. The key lies in intent: Don’t worry about the details or the planning, just go with what is working and moving you forward. Focus on the Emotion. Don’t just do something for the sake of acting, feel it to be right before acting. You might not feel like doing something, but that will be irrelevant! So long as you feel it is the right thing to do then do it.
If you find yourself struggling to adapt to the change of Flow this week you might find it is simply because you are fighting the reality of the situation. If this happens you will see paths disappearing off into mid-air and then vaporising. The better way to go is inward — not upward and outward at this time. You may be able to see the bigger picture but now is the time for discipline.
If you find yourself still full of ideas then aim to bring yourself back down to earth by getting emotional. If you find yourself getting impatient this week and find your moods are too changeable then just be more sympathetic to your goals and to what you’re trying to accomplish.
The Pars Mercurii is in the fourth house (Leo) together with the Active Transform. This is a clear indication that you will make the best and fastest progress if you keep things personal. It indicates that your aims for progressing your projects have been perfectly fine, but now it is time to change the approach.
Take control of your Destiny
The Active Transform this week is Carcer (23) in the fourth house (Leo). This is a fascinating direction for Flow to take. It shows very clearly the need to close down external effort and to simply practice doing what you need to do. It is a call to develop yourself from within. It is time to get broad and deep. Feel what you need to learn and get after it! Push yourself to broaden your approach. Aim for a bigger and more understanding awareness. Give yourself scope to grow. It is the ability to tame your lion.
The change brought about by Via should help you nurture yourself. The discipline you can bring to your life can be thought of more as nurturing yourself. This is the way to channel your thoughts and feelings. This is the way to gain admiration and self-respect. It is the way of true self-expression. And, if you go really deep, it is the way to mastery.
And mastery gives you power.
