Candlemas (otherwise known as Imbolc) occurs tomorrow at 0301, UK time. For those in tune with nature it is the start of Spring and you will have no doubt noticed bulbs pushing up their shoots and that the birds are starting to get territorial!
This week gives you the opportunity to turn your experience into teaching for others… and something more.
Carcer in the second house (Aquarius) has a favourable interpretation, given the trine aspect to the second geome. Whilst it is traditionally associated with caution in financial matters, it probably does not do full justice to the mental forces swirling around you this week.
Your thoughts and feelings are likely to be revolving around possessions, money and other physical resources and you will probably want to make sure that you are using what tools you have available to best effect.
Mentally, you will be geared-up to be a problem solver and will find it relatively easy to be analytical about situations. This is likely to manifest in you seeming, and being, sure of yourself. It is this which gives you the ability to see problems coming a mile off.
The Pars Saturnii in the fifth house (Taurus) shows that one of the ways you have been able to forge ahead is because others have been reluctant to move forward. And while you may have experienced, shall we say, limited self-expression, it’s probably time for everyone to lighten up a little and to see just what possibilities there are if they give a little.
Rubeus in the 10th house (Libra) is again going to focus on the mental in this Casting. The single Tap at Level 2 indicates a high level of confidence and competence in what you are trying to do. It’s not that you are operating on automatic pilot but rather that you are simply sure of your thoughts.
This, combined with Carcer enables you to draw on your resources and to be able to ‘do the right thing’. Here ‘doing the right thing’ means that you will be able to be diplomatic and get the best solution for everyone, even if you have to balance up some challenging alternatives.
Being diplomatic also ensures that you can be fair and just in situations where you have to make hard choices. Remember to stay calm and keep your temper. You should be able to do this given this placement. And in doing so you avoid becoming part of the problem!
By being careful before wading in you show that you are able to stand out from the crowd. And it is this combination of pragmatic use of your resources combined with skills and knowledge which allow you to take on the role of teacher.
The Active Transform this week is Puer (14) in the sixth house (Gemini). This is a particularly useful and informative placement in the Casting. It shows how best to capitalise on your position in the work, you need to do.
Whilst you may be ‘first amongst equals’ in being able to work with and teach your peer group, please be aware that there are still things for you to learn. This is not a criticism but rather an opportunity!
The Active Transform indicates that while humility is never a bad thing, the most useful aspect to events this week is the opportunity you will have to turn your knowledge into practical results. You can learn more about applying what you know.
Your prudence in the use of your resources combined with your knowledge give you credibility and respectability. But knowledge on its own is not enough. Knowing how to do and then doing carry all before them.
