Astrogem Casting for week commencing 20th January 2014
This week is potentially very passionate. Feelings will be running high and actions are likely to follow suit. Rubeus in the eighth house (Leo) is going to make sure that everyone is involved in the big clearout. “Let’s let everyone know what’s going on!” he says. And sure enough everyone notices!
The thing that is most noticeable, however, is that there seems to be so much energy and so much action that there is little time for careful thought. If you look at Rubeus you will see that there is only a single tap at Level 2. This indicates that it will be up to you to think carefully and in detail. To be honest, there is so much emotion and preoccupation around it will need someone with a clear head to look after business.
You will be needed to make sure that good ideas are not lost in the flood of ‘just getting things done’ and also that you are there to make sure that the weak are protected and not just left to fend for themselves. You will have to play the part of protective parent in the middle of the stampede.
Push and pull
This is not straightforward, however. You will be tempted to want to join in all the fun that’s going on at the moment. You will recognise that need for change around you but you’ll still feel a pull at your roots every time you have another demand placed on you.
This could be quite an exhausting time, if you let it. It’s not so much all the work but all the decisions with far reaching consequences you’ll need to make.
Later in the week, however, everything changes — just like that: “Click!”
Where did that party go?
Once the influence of Via makes its presence felt later in the week you are likely to see a different kind of change. Change is characteristic of Rubeus, but this is something else. The Flow on Levels 1, 3 and 4 collapses leaving most of us wondering what the heck just happened. There seems to have been a complete shift from ‘all systems go’ one moment to a feeling like a roomful of people have just left!
This is not a bad thing if you manage it right (and now that you know it’s coming). What it means is that you will be able to keep a clear head and cut through all the noise and distractions. You will be able to see the clear way which is opening up. Because you are already in training earlier this week by not getting caught up in all the rush you will be in the best position to take stock of the situation when it does change.
Via in Sagittarius gives your aim pin-point accuracy too. You will know that with Via in the twelfth house not to take everything at face value but to use the recent penetrative insights from Rubeus to see what is really there. Calm people down and reassure them. They will probably be feeling a little lost and your guidance will go a long way to improving the situation. New paths and destinations beckon.
Take control of your Destiny
The story is not over yet, however. If you decide to work with the Flow then you can position yourself for further change. Look at the changes at Level 2 of the Active Transform Puella (2):

We can see that throughout the week the single tap at Level 2 has been quietly getting up to speed to blossom into two new taps in Puella (2). This shows that while you had to hold back your thoughts and ideas earlier in the week to protect and then calm others, now you have the opportunity to let your thoughts and ideas flourish. The geomes are in a trine this week so all power to you. It is one of the most powerful aspects in a casting — so don’t hold back!
Given that the AT is in the fourth house (Aries) you will probably feel both at home with new ideas and perhaps a little impatient to get started.
Hold back there, my friend. Instead of Aries the Ram consider Aries the Lamb. Take it a little easier. There’s time enough.
Puella (2) shows that the main benefit you can bring now will be peace and harmony. But bring them to yourself first! Only then can you help others. Get your head straight first and then see how you can help.
